Fifteen Interesting Facts

Hello my name is Aaron, I am extremely passionate about Mercedes Benz as I think they are just amazing and have such a good history, My blog as you have probably already guessed is about the one and only Mercedes Benz. Here are a few facts that I am sure you will not know!

1.     Mercedes Benz was loved by the Nazis and Hitler bought a lot of them, he privately bought them and supplied them to some of his favourite soldiers.

2.     The Headquarters of Mercedes Benz is in Stuttgart, Germany.

3.     Mercedes Benz was one of the first ever cars registered as a gasoline powered engine.

4.     The slogan for Mercedes Benz is “The Best or Nothing”.

5.     Mercedes Benz’s main competition is not just Audi and BMW but now Lexus and Jaguar as well.

6.      In 1965 the founders for the Mercedes AMG Hans Werner Aufrecht  and Ercherd Melcher built their first injection engine at Aufrecht’s home just for fun.

7.     The current Pope mobile which is the chair that the Pope sits in in the elevated glass room is based on a Mercedes ML  
8.     In the Mercedes W140 Class it had had double glazed windows that could deliver hot air even when the engine was off.
9.     The extremely rare Mercedes Benz 450SLC 5.0 is the only internationally successful rally car with an automatic gearbox which never failed during any of the events.

10. Each Mercedes 500E was built by Porsche and took 18 days to make.

11.                         The Mercedes Benz S-class, can seat 6 people and has a six programme massage feature, so you can still have a nice relaxing massage whilst on the go.

12.                          If the 2014 Mercedes Benz S-class cannot get a GPS signal, it can get a reading of the position of the sun and take you home straight away, it has very advanced almost futuristic features.

13.                         The 2014 Mercedes Benz S-class contains advanced sensors using radar, infrared, thermal, ultrasonic and visual media to calculate position, speed rotation and acceleration

14.                         The 2014 Mercedes Benz S-class has better light producing and more energy efficient front and rear LED lights

15.                         There is a special feature in the 2014 S-class that scans the road surface and can adapt to the road surface and terrain that it is on.
